Truck Driver Training and Careers said...

The biggest concern people have is the cost of getting your CDL. However, Truck Driver Training Schools have partnered with major carriers to offer not only a job after you have completed training, but these companies offer to pay off the principal of the education loan used to attain the CDL. Therefore there is now little to no money out of pocket, and this doesn't even take into consideration things link education grants and VA funding which make the training completely free.

As a driver recruiter I can attest to the fact that demand for individuals that hold a class A CDL, in other words professional truck drivers, far outweighs the supply.

Companies call me every day ready to increase pay, benefits, and intangibles to get more drivers applying to their positions.

The best thing about trucking jobs is that they are virtually recession proof and they can not be outsourced to other countries.

I don't know of any other opportunity where you can go to a 3 to 4 week training course and be guaranteed a position making the money this industry offers.

The companies I recruit for also increase the driver's pay every 6 months because their driving experience has increased. No other jobs I can think of give you a guaranteed raise every 6 months.

If you are tired of working dead end jobs, want a better or more stable career, and want to increase the amount of money you bring home, consider the transportation profession.
