Baba's Supper Club Announces Comedy Club Night and Grand Opening (Press Release)

Comedy Club Night Set

Baba's Supper Club in Downtown Sun Prairie will be hosting their first comedy club night on Thursday March 24th. Doors open at 5pm, dinner at 6pm and the show will start at 7:30 p.m. The featured comedians will be Mike Marvell and Steve Purcell.

Milwaukee comedian Mike Marvell puts on thousands of miles a year, traveling across the country, telling jokes and stories about his family and life in Wisconsin. Married for over 20 years with three kids, his comedy offers material that everyone will definitely relate to. When Mike hits the stage, it’s like you’ve known him forever. He’s the guy next door, that crazy cousin, or your brother-in-law (the one you like). Watching Mike’s show is like THAT 70’s SHOW, with a shot of CHEERS, some EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND, and a huge helping of THE SIMPSONS.

Steve Purcell is a standup comic from Wisconsin. He has been performing on stage since 1999 but has been harvesting material his whole life. He is a Midwestern product straight out of the dairy state and just like a good beer; Steve is full bodied and has a refreshing head. His jokes are from the heart and from the heartland and audiences all over are laughing out loud. Escape from your world and enjoy the comedy of Steve Purcell. You will feel good about your life because there's someone else who understands it. Steve has worked many top comedy clubs across the country and has donated his time to charity events, most notably the Gilda Radner Club. He's available for bookings, but never during a Packer game or deer hunting season.

Grand Opening Scheduled

Baba's official Grand Opening will be on Saturday April 2nd. They will feature two different bands, including headliner Mark Croft at 8:30 p.m.
