Summit Credit Union and Pizza Ranch to Host Free Seminar on Understanding Your Credit Report (Summit Credit Union)
The information in your credit report can affect your ability to borrow money, rent an apartment or get a cell phone. Get the inside scoop on how to read your report and understand what it says. Attendees will learn what is good and bad credit and how to improve or maintain their credit score. Attendees will receive a complimentary copy of their personal credit report. Pizza and soda are complimentary.

Sun Prairie Chamber Announces Upcoming Events

Join us for an informational seminar for businesses on Branding. Sponsored by the Sun Prairie Chamber of Commerce Education Committee, the seminar will be held at Globe University, 4901 East Park Blvd, Madison, on Thursday, April 7th, 2011 from 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. Topics include:
1) Don’t let the image of your company develop by accident
2) Strategy discussion
3) Case studies
4) Practical ideas on how to make this part of your business strategy more effective.
The session will be facilitated by Bob Trewartha, Director of Campus and Program Promotions, Globe University. Businesses and organizations interested in the subject are welcome to attend. The Chamber Education Committee is working to offer business seminars of current topics to Chamber Members and the community at large.
The seminar is $3.00 for Chamber of Commerce members and $15.00 for non-members. The fee will help cover refreshment and material costs for the event. President of Sun Prairie's Allied Industries to Present at Entrepreneurs' Conference
Sun Prairie's Stuart Anders of Allied Industries LLC will be a keynote speaker at Thursday June 26th's "Catch the Culture: A 7 Rivers Regional Inventors & Entrepreneurs Rendezvous" from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Cleary Alumni & Friends Center at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Anders' inventions are a part of the Sears Craftsman tool line and have sold over of one million items. At the event Anders will share his experiences in turning an idea into a marketable item starting as a young apprentice in his father's woodworking shop through his unique career path as an industrial arts teacher, helicopter pilot, and leotard and swimwear designer.
