Associated Bank announced today that it is expanding its relationship with Roundy’s Supermarkets, Inc. by adding a second in-store branch bank in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.
Associated has acquired the banking facility inside Copps Food Center at 2538 Ironwood Drive in Sun Prairie, replacing Guaranty Bank effective Monday, August 17.
Associated will also open a branch in the new Copps Food Center at 640 E. Main Street, replacing the branch located in the soon-to-close Pick’ n Save store at 2001 Mc Coy Road. The store is scheduled to close in conjunction with the opening of the new Copps. Both Copps Food Center and Pick ‘n Save are owned and operated by Roundy’s Supermarkets, Inc.
“Our growing relationship with Roundy’s has added a tremendous amount of convenience for our customers,” said David Stein, Executive Vice President and Director of Retail Banking for Associated. “With the opening of our second Sun Prairie branch, Associated Bank will have branches in 23 Roundy’s Supermarkets locations in Wisconsin. We believe it has been beneficial for both Associated and Roundy’s, increasing customer traffic for both organizations.”
“Our current branch at the soon-to-close Pick’n Save on Mc Coy Road is one of Associated’s busiest grocery store branches,” said Ruta Bastos, Regional Director of Retail Banking for Associated. “We believe the combination of an Associated branch in the new Copps and an additional branch at the Ironwood Drive Copps will bring even more convenience to our customers in this growing Madison-area community.”
To ensure customers have continuous access to services in Sun Prairie, Associated Bank will open at the Ironwood Drive Copps on Monday, August 17, well before the anticipated closing of the Pick’n Save store at the end of August.
Associated Bank is part of Associated Banc-Corp (NASDAQ: ASBC), headquartered in Green Bay, Wis., a diversified bank holding company with total assets of $24 billion. Associated has more than 300 banking offices serving approximately 160 communities in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois.
